Fridays 8:45 am- 11:30 am
Volunteers are welcome to work alongside of us during our weekly harvests! Be involved in the whole harvesting process- from seeding to transplanting to harvesting- and learn about aquaponics along the way! The lettuce you help harvest is both sold to help cover our non-profit's operational costs and donated to local food pantries to help our neighbors in need. By helping us locally you are also impacting the ministry we are doing around the world including building aquaponics food systems, reducing poverty with dignity, and training.

Here are a few important details about volunteering at Emerge:

If you are sick please remain home.

Park along the white picket fence that is to the right (west) after you come down the driveway and turn right toward the greenhouse.

Please be at the greenhouse ready to work by 8:00 am on Tuesday and 8:45 am on Friday.

We suggest bringing a water bottle.

Please wear closed shoes (toe and heel). Long hair should be pulled back and all dangling jewelry should be removed. Wear clothes that you are okay with getting a little dirty.

Children are welcome but must have a parent or legal guardian supervising them at all times. We ordinarily have work for children 7 & up, but it depends on the child's ability and interest. This is a working ranch and for everyone’s safety kids need to stay with their parent/guardian.

You do not have to stay for the whole time, but we ask that you are there at the beginning to receive the orientation.
